Artist's Comments
I created this picture as an ode to Barbossa, that kickass pirate from Pirates of the Caribbean : the Curse of the Black Pearl.
I actually found his "apple" quite symbolic in the movie --- a sign of his remaining humanity and his yearn to feel again. COme on...you gotta pity the guy! the only thing he wanted was to eat a bushel of apples but Jack durned killed him before he could. *cries*

YES YES YES!!!!!!!!! I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOUR DESCRIPTION!!! I spent a while on my Dead journal writing about how Elizabeth is the real villian. She dun lied to Barbossa, Will, Norrington, her father, and Jack. Barbossa just wanted to feel again. To undo the curse for himself and his crew, and Liz strolls along and pisses him off!! poor Barbossa. He didn't deserve to die.
But anywho.........This is an AWESOME picture!!! I love that moon!!!! Tis very awesome indeed!! Who's that girl in the picture? She looks really cool! Very sly, and mysterious!!! The posture is great! VERY NICE!! Barbossa would be proud!
